Case Study: Angoves
Situation:
Them Advertising’s long standing client, Angoves, wanted a website. They needed the ability to showcase their wine ranges, provide direct marketing material to their distributors, with tasting notes, reviews and awards to display for clients. They also wanted to be able to update the site themselves and to have a shop from where they could sell wine direct to the public. Them had design concepts, clear ideas on branding and knew how the client wanted the site to “feel”. They had worked with Vmedia for many years with the Adelaide Metro and knew we could be trusted to help make this work for their valued client.
Solution:
Vmedia were able to supply technical advice to enable Them to achieve the type of feel they were looking for, work with (and add to) the design, and create a robust site that suited the clients needs. The site makes it possible for the client to update information while maintaining high quality design and technical features. The WebShop, tasting and awards notes, bottle images and promotions are all managed by Angoves using web based interfaces we developed. The shop interface provides reports, handles direct to bank transactions and integrates with the site to create a seamless and professional design presentation.

Situation:
Hughes PR are SA’s leading leading communication management consultancy, and had a very clear idea about what they wanted to do with their website: Communicate!
Solution:
Vmedia listened carefully and collaborated with Hughes, taking a design they had developed and making it work visually on a web page whilst making it easy for Hughes to update themselves. Striking graphics combine with no nonsense navigation and text to deliver Hughes message clearly and quickly. Hughes PR and Vmedia have a good working relationship that has extended to projects for clients and even our community work (we both support CanDo4Kids) If you look closely you will see that we even ended up in their pics!
Case Study: PSM
Situation:
PSM ( Practical Sales and Marketing) needed a partner to develop and maintain webshop solutions for their clients Orlando Wyndham, Coopers and Wild Turkey. The use of the web to order and maintain records is critical to the success of PSM’s business as well as their clients, so collaboration, communication and support are important factors.
Solution:
Vmedia now have been working with and supporting PSM for many years, developing Webshop into an integrated solution which not only tracks the orders, talks to the warehouse and keeps stock levels in check, it also runs the reports that are needed to manage this part of their business. The client needs are often changed and refined; the warehouse changes their system, new reports are needed, a different system of ordering implemented.. Vmedia has been there every step of the way.

Case Study: BankSA Talkfringe
Situation:
BankSA are the official partner of the popular Adelaide Fringe, and wanted a site that would promote the Fringe, support the artists, and provide the public with a way to feedback the fringe experience. Together with Clemenger BBDO, BankSA developed a brief for a website in 2006 designed to help support the Fringe acts, get the audience more involved, and add to the Fringe experience for everyone. This site would allow anyone to rate fringe shows, score free tickets to events, check out Fringe photos in the on-line gallery, and send their friends fringe postcards.
Solution:
Vmedia developed a custom solution for the Bank, bringing together the artists ( with their shows being listed) the public ( with membership, blogs, show ratings, photos and free ticket offers) and the bank (moderating, making offers, promoting news and events, branding).
The solution so effective that it helped the Bank win a very prestigious award. BankSA and the Adelaide Fringe were the recipients of the South Australian 2006 National Australia Bank Partnering Award, in acknowledgement of the mutual benefits and support provided for Australia's largest arts festival, Adelaide Fringe. They went on to win the National event.
Not resting on any laurels, this year the site was bigger and better, with video reviews, the ability for members to keep track of their favourite shows, friends and videos. Each year we take the design from the advertising campaign and adapt it for use on the site, add new functionality and features, make sur eit is relevant, fresh and up to date.

Case Study: About Me
Situation:
Lifes for Living and Image & Substance approached us to help them with a project which required a very collaborative approach and a lot of custom programming. Parents and Carers of disabled children often will need to share details about their child with other agencies and professionals including schools, specialists and relief carers. Going through the same medical details is time consuming and emotionally exhausting, and often says nothing positive about the child, focussing instead on their difficulties. Nor does it often leave room to discuss things the child likes or dislikes, and other parts of their often unique and lovable character. Sharing this information is critical to the care and wellbeing of the child.
Solution:
Through this joint project, Vmedia produced a website resource aboutme.org,au. Registered users can maintain a printable profile book which records the childs history, disability, support needs, milestones, and medical contacts, while maintaining a positive focus on the childs skills and abilities, likes and current interests. The topics in the website which can be used in each book are very comprehensive, and were developed in consultation with parents and professionals. Parents maintain the book, share it with their child, as well as printing and sharing with the people in the childs life. In this way parents of disabled children are able to positively influence the way that the world relates to their child, as well as relieving the need to constantly repeat medical and support information.
